Want to visit Venice

I am looking for a cruise itinerary that visits Venice, Italy, but which does not begin, or end in Venice.

I cannot find a cruise that just ports there for a day. Is there one?

You could also look for ships that stop in Trieste. Easy excursion from there.

There are only a few cruises that meet the OPs criteria. One decent option is a 12 day itinerary on the RCI Vision of the Seas which does an overnight in Venice. That cruise begins and ends in Barcelona. However, the down side is that it gets into Venice at 2pm on a Saturday and leaves about 2 on Sunday. Not the best times.

When you say a ship ports for a day; do you mean overnight or long day. I am doing a B2B in May. We start in Venice, End in Venice, and have a day in Venice between back to backs. We arrive at 8am and leave the same day at 6pm.

May 3, 2015 on Vision ,is 13 nights Barcelona - Barcelona with an overnight in Venice. It arrives in Venice May 9, around 3pm and leaves Venice on May 10, at 6 or 6:30pm.
