Short 5 day cruise. We arrived at the terminal early around 1035am despite the email I received suggesting our arrival time to be between 12pm and 3 pm.

We were booked in Concierge Class cabin and had priority boarding. We were on board the ship by 1055am. There were quite a few people that had arrived there around the same time as well but had a slight wait before boarding but no biggie.

We went straight up to the Lido deck to check out the pools and the solarium which has wooden deck chairs and a huge hot tub..thought it was a pool at first.

We got a drink and sat back and relaxed in the piece and quiet of it all..watching people board. We had some lunch in the Ocean Cafe then waited until we could go to our cabin.

As time went by and more and more people boarded we noticed the patrons were between 35 and up............and then the shift. I all of a sudden be came the Central Florida Spring Break Barge. lol

So many kids......first attraction the bars. Celebrity has made it easy for it to be the spring break destination with the All Inclusive Drink Packages and they weren't going to waist a drop.

Mind you for the most part they did ask for ID but I heard a lot of excuses as to where their ID might be. And I can tell you the majority probably were of age but a lot of the kids were not.

I heard one young man say he was glad he was sharing a cabin with his friends who got the drink pack so he had to have one automatically. If one person in the cabin buys it all persons in the cabin have to purchase it as well.

They were fun to watch. Over hearing some of the conversations was hilarious. For the most part they were respectfully in their language use, which worked out well for the older crowd. I was sort of glad that they were in lesser expensive cabins so I was able to sleep at night. Only once or twice did I here someone yelling up the hall looking for someone or something.

The crew were run off there feet trying to keep up and clean up after them. They had a real hard time trying to enforce dress codes all over the ship. The CD Alejandro (awesome guy) soon labeled the spring breakers "The Crazy People"...lots of announcements and apologies in regards to the crazy people.

Old men breaking out cameras and phones video taping and taking pics of the scantly clad young ladies shaking their booties all over the place. I found that to be creepy.

The food was excellent in the main dining room. We ate there for diner every night except one. And we also had breakfast there several times. Unlike Carnival, the food came out hot and fast which was awesome and they managed to accommodate my food sensitivities. We sat at table 201 in front of the wall of windows, what a view. Our table mates were very nice and one older couple just completed their 93 Celebrity cruise and were having a presentation in the theater by the Captain that 2nd night. Karen and Bob have 15 more cruises this year to reach Zenith status.

The one night we ate at the Tuscan Italian Steakhouse. I will be honest I originally did not want to go figuring Italian and Steakhouse don't go together well. I was right. We ordered Crab cake appetizer my husbands was good mine was burnt. The salad was nice. They sat us by the windows, normally I wouldn't complain but the sun was setting and I asked for the blind to be lowered because of the glare right in my face . I was told it will go away in about 20 minutes, so I sat there blinded until a group of people outside stood at the railing which gave me some relief.

WE both ordered the filet Mignon came with a mushroom sauce. I ordered med rare. First two bites in were good, as I started cutting into it got beyond rare to blue......I was done. I chose not to complain , honestly cause no ever came around to see how we were doing until I was done and pushed it away. I figured for $90.00 we better enjoy desert. My hubby passed but I had the chocolate fondue.....it was nice. After we left I was in search of some food that would be better ...pizza in the cafe is awesome..always fresh.

For entertainment in the theater night one was John Wing from America's Got Talent comedian....he was funny...night 2 was i-hollywood show with the ships entertainers, can't remember what came next but there was another comedian and Jane Brune singer/comedian. Dancing with the Officers. They had Jane do a matinee show to give the old folks a break from the crazy people on the lido deck on our last sea day.

The shopping on board is great...I had 300 OBC found it hard to purchase stuff..not my nature but I managed to get it all gone except for .46cents.......lol No luck at the Bingo...rolling pot $17,000 and growing..

There is always live music going on all over the ship which was very enjoyable, very talented young people.

I truly enjoyed that fact that the entire interior of the ship does not reek of smoke like Carnival ships.......Carnival has to give up indoor smoking at the casino.

Key West was great. One woman was taken off ship and her bags in a wheel chair..hope she was alright. One young person returned to ship in a wheel chair. We apparently had some kids put off the ship ..at least they were in the US/

First sea day was to crazy after the young people took over the deck so I was indoors enjoying other things.. but apparently the deck party got carried away and a lot of furniture was ..they were not happy about that.

Cozumel was our next stop, I have been there several times so I just walked around for a while then enjoyed the silent ship since most people were off. And lost some more passengers.....4 more kids and bags were put off in Cozumel because of furniture damage. That would be a tough call to make to mom and dad....I got kicked off in Mexico.

Second Sea Day was much calmer than the first. But I got into it with an old aggressive man. He was holding a chair for almost 3 hrs....when there were none to be had. Pool bulter gave me a deck rule card and told me to approach him so I did. I pointed out that the chair has been empty for 3 hrs and I am giving him the courtesy of 30 more mins according to deck card or I will take the chair. He said it is for his wife.....no where to be found. I said 30 mins she shows up or that is it. He started yelling at me that I was rude and ruining his vacation and his wife wants shade....and I was to get security involved. I wasn't going to go to dukes with a man twice my size..he found his wife in the solarium she came and sat down and had a loud argument with him, saying she didn't want to sit there that is why she never came so they both left and I got a chair.

Cabin stewards were great and very fast. The crew in general were amazing.

Only on towel animal.........all in all good cruise.

P.S. The best deserts and pastries on the ship are at the Coffee Bar on Deck 5. Coffees are at a charge unless you have drink package but the deserts are free.........going to miss those.

Wow thanks for your review. I had heard in another thread about it being a party boat given FL Spring break. Glad you were not impacted. Feel really bad for the crew. WRT the pool butler he had probably had enough drama for the week given your and the other reviewers description of the pool deck. We are on the 3/26 Constellation sailing.

crash3x,

Thank you for your review.

This is the second one about the Spring break cruise.

Love your tone ,writing style and attitude when you are presented with suprises on vacation.

"4 more kids and bags were put off in Cozumel because of furniture damage. That would be a tough call to make to mom and dad....I got kicked off in Mexico."

LOL,, it has the makings of a SNL skit.

I look forward to meeting the CD on my next cruise on the Constellation. His monker for the Sring breakers was priceless.

will also be eating in the Tuscan Grille and I would have sent my steak back if it was not cooked med rare.

Hi Azulann, I was on this sailing as well....my balcony was starboard,

high up enough and directly mid ship...I had what would be called

"REAL REALITY TV" watching them come back to the ship in Key West:rolleyes:

One gal was being carried by her boyfriend (I would guess) she was

so drunk she couldn't walk....they actually had to bring a wheelchair

out:rolleyes:

Oh, the annoucements started at Muster so it was from day 1......

Alejandro is the CD....both he AND the Captain were making multiple

annoucements every day.

Lois, I am sure that there is probably already a reality show on cable about Spring breakers at resorts and on ships...

You had a ring side seat wiht your balcony for the watching of "the crazy people" return.

I am old enough to remember when "Fort Lauderdale and beach blanket bingo with Annette" was the reality movie for my generation.;)

Lois, BTW I always enjoy your posts and your reviews on CC. Maybe we will met someday on board...

This was our first cruise and so glad I upgraded to aqua class. Although there were a lot of spring breakers we found the majority to be polite and just looking to have fun. I will admit it was disappointing not being able to enjoy the pool deck like I would have wanted. Unfortunately it was crowded with "crazys" and the smell of alcohol and vomit was way to much for me.

I will mention that the staff of the constellation made the trip for us. I feel that they may have been I'll prepared for the younger crowd but they sure went the extra mile to make everyone enjoy their trip.

PS I am a new poster to this bored but had to mention my experience after the party boat post popped up in my Google search. Embarrassed to admit it but I was looking for some spring break go pro videos of the cruise journey to prove to my Co my friends and colleagues workers I was not on the old persons ship :)

Thank you for the review. I hope our cruise isn't that wild here in 10 days.
