For those who've noticed an increase in price and/or a drop in service, where do you stand if this trend continues? This pull is all in good fun, and meant for those who have been fairly loyal.

I was never that loyal to RCCL ( but still favorite line)

tried F and G never again

Did H most likely will try again

Have done I many times

Love A/I land and also NYC which will cost more than any RCCL cruise

After initially cruising on Carnival, I want to stay Loyal to Royal. However, I am starting to fear they are going to "price me out".

with the extreme high prices for October. we might just go to vegas for our 5 yr anniversary instead of a cruise. I am just not willing to pay them high prices.

A. Not sure...don't have anything booked at the moment.

B&C. Although Royal was our favorite cruiseline, we haven't been so loyal.

D. Waiting for the prices to come down at the last minute.

E. Investigating other lines.

F. Hated our Carnival cruise, but *might* be open to considering one of their newest ships.

G. Despite bad reviews, *might* be open to trying the Breakaway or Getaway

H. Loved our two Celebrity cruises, so this will always be an option.

I. Wouldn't hesitate to sail with Princess again either

J. Might do Disney World, or a European tour.

K. Nah...I like my job, and I've had a few really bad/boring days at sea.

We prefer Royal but recent pricing trend is making it almost impossible for us who have a very limited vacation budget to book with.

G- Just booked our first NCL cruise two weeks ago! Looking forward to sailing on their new ship, Escape, in November.

Interesting responses everyone. Reply to each line, I'm going to do that myself. ;)

 

A. RCL has intentionally decided to raise prices next year, blatantly mentioned in financial articles last Fall. If this BOGOHO "sale" is an attempt to "re-educate the customer", it didn't work well for JC Penny, and I imagine gravity will set in here too.

B/C/E Never was loyal

D. I would book a 14 day cruise last minute if planning ahead.

F. We're mostly doing shorter Carnival cruises in the Fall, maybe Hawaii

G. Norwegian's itineraries don't interest us yet.

H. Love Celebrity!

I. HAL is looking good for future trips to Alaska

J. A European tour sounds interesting someday.

K. Nope, I would sail Motel 6 Cruise Line if that's all there was, or go every few years on Crystal. We love sailing!
