Help with Port Canaveral Hotel

Can anyone suggest a hotel in Port Canaveral? Looking for somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep the night before the cruise. Nothing too fancy needed, but do prefer to be a decent hotel. Somewhere between 75 and 150 would be great. Thanks!

We like staying at the Radisson when we sail from PC. You can leave your car parked there and be shuttled to the port, which is only 5 minutes away.

We stayed at the Radisson Resort at the Port. It seems to get mixed reviews but our rooms were very clean, staff was great. The restaurant was ok, and the pool was amazing.

Country Inn & Suites was reasonable. They had breakfast and a shuttle to port. We didn't use the shuttle because we had a rental car.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn. Nice stay, decent rooms, nice hotel grounds.

We always stay at the Country Inn & Suites and have always had great service and very clean.

Both are in the same parking lot, and there is a Hertz rental car agency in the parking lot as well. Get a Hertz car if you are flying in, use it for the night, go there in the AM, drop it off, and get a free shuttle ride to the ships.

Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn & Radisson At The Port are the three closest to the port and very popular.

 

Another poster said if you bid Zone 1 on Priceline you would get one of these three. Haven't tried it myself but might be worth checking into.

Country Inn and Suites and the Radisson are both nice. The Radisson has a neat pool area with a tiki bar.

We like staying at the Radisson when we sail from PC. You can leave your car parked there and be shuttled to the port, which is only 5 minutes away.

 

 

Also suggest this, nice hotel with a pool and pool bar. Good breakfast in the morning too, we had a package that allowed us to park the car and have breakfast. Close to port, we called ahead a few weeks prior and made shuttle reservations to get to the port early [emoji5]

All of the above have good to excellent comments from past guest, me we have stayed at Residence Marriott a number of times. May not be the cheapest but room always clean, good breakfast, and shuttle to and from the cruise terminal on time with no waiting. Safe Parking. We are booked again Nov 13 2015 for the Carnival Sunshine. Close to Fishlips, for excellent seafood. Good Luck

we liked the Radisson Resort at the Port,great pool area there. Country Inn and Suites is also nice,friends stayed there once.

Another vote for the Radisson here. I have stayed there at least twice and always great. Good rate, quality rooms and pool/hot tub and a nice bar with restaurant on site. Also you can park your rental car at an adjacent lot while you are on your cruise and for a small fee, they make sure you get a shuttle to the ship at departure time, only a good 15 minute or so ride from door to door. A few good restaurants within walking distance, further down the island is a Publix and near the port itself is a nice waterfront with upscale restaurants and bars. Highly recommend that place. Just beware that there are lots and lots of ants that bite around the pool area and don't leave anything on the concrete for them to get into, LOL. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Radisson Resort at the Port. Nice property. Close to cruise port. Great swimming pool. Restaurant on site. Nice tiki bar by the pool. Clean and comfortable. In your price range. If you plan to take their shuttle to the port, be sure and put your name on the sign-up list as soon as possible.

I hope the Radisson has improved. Based on the number of people offering recommendations, I would guess things are better there now. The last time we stayed there, in 2010, I would not have wished that place on my worst enemy.
