Returning to Dubai this fall. Stayed last time at Hyatt by WAFI mall. Very nice but now looking for something different, just to chsnge it up. Any suggestions for other areas or hoetels would be welcome. Thanks in advance for responses.

Raffles dubai is very good, and they have an excellent club floor. Raffles is very central for transport links. My other favourite is Dar Al Masyaf, which are beautiful arabian villas, linked by a waterway. This is by the sea, next to BUrj al arab, and the jumerial beach hotel.

Raffles would be my preference on the club floor though, rooms are lovely and service is excellent.

Only experienced one hotel on a business trip. It was the Fairmont The Palm.

Fabulous stay, no complaints.

Hi Hobar, we were on the Dec 2011 SA Sojourn cruise with you, we're heading to Dubai in two weeks to catch the Seabourn Odyssey and are staying at the JW Marriott in Deira (old town area) central to airport and cruise port, hotel is reported to have excellent club level.
