I am going to be posting a full review shortly, but I figured people would want to see the new venues added to Miracle. First up is Alchemy, a very nice space with great bartenders:

Not ready yet:

Only 1 of 4 of the Playlist Productions shows is up and running - they won't have all 4 up for about a month as they roll out a new show each week.

Suess at Sea was nowhere to be seen.

Hasbro the Game Show was nowhere to be seen.

Besides about 1/2 of Serenity for a couple of days, there was no ongoing construction to be seen. I did see people with "contractor" id badges walking around, so there was work going on somewhere, just not visible in any public areas.

The chapel on the ship is also closed with a sign that says "crew only".

I did not think I would really care for any of the new bars, but they are very very attractive spaces and I spent a TON of time at Alchemy and Red Frog. As a matter of fact, Alchemy is my favorite bar on any cruise ship at this point.

It will be in my review, but the crew was super friendly and happy. The best Carnival crew I have experienced yet. The couple weeks away from cruises did them well - even though they still had to work on board.

Having been on her sister the Legend before and after her 2.0 I can offer explanations on locations:

That Red Frog pub is identical in shape and decor...and well everything. The Red Frog pub has replaced the Jazz bar on Promenade (Deck 2) as you head to the phantom lounge forward of the ship.

Similarly the New Skybox sports bar is the same shape as all the sports bars on Spirit class ships so it will right next to Red Frog above and replaced Maguire's Sport bar.

The Cherry on top has replaced Formalities on Atlantic (Deck 3) at the end of the fun shops if you are heading to the lobby.

I am almost certainThe Alchemy bar is on Promenade deck 2 before you get to the lower part of the dining room replacing Jeeves Lounge as I can see the entrance to the nightclub in the photo.

While I am absolutely certain about the rest of the upgrade locations Alchemy is one thing the Legend did not get but it looks pretty obvious to me.

Hope that helps.

Knowing the layout of the spirit class ships quite well, I wonder if you can add where the location of these additions were made?

Alchemy is on Deck 2 aft. Just in front of the dining room on the starboard side.

The sports bar and Red Frog are next to each other behind the fountain on Deck 2. The sports bar has entrances in the casino and behind the stairs that go around the fountain. Red Frog is directly forward of the sports bar underneath the library and what used to be the chapel.

The candy store is in the middle of the fun shops on Deck 3.

Oh, I didn't see this before I answered. All of this is correct.

Very nice pictures!!!

I agree with the one poster ...... I was hoping some of the updates would have added some dining options.

I haven't sailed Carnival yet, but we are about settled on the idea of doing the Miracle to Mexican Riviera this fall. I've been reading lots and lots on the boards here. So excited to try Carnival. We've been cruising NCL.

Sad that there is no Guy burgers or Blue iguana. I really enjoyed those places on the Breeze.

Agreed with the lack of addition of food choices. I especially don't get not adding Guy's Burgers because it would have been a minor change to the existing grill that just has average burgers. I was also hoping for the sushi place.

For what it is worth, the crew thinks that Guy's will be added at some point.
