While I am not sure how much a server makes on Regent, servers make enough to put their children through college (something that many cannot do in the United States) without taking out huge loans). Butlers earn an extremely good wage - most of them are from India. Some butlers we have chatted with have plans to open their own businesses when they leave life on the ship.

 

I think that we are fortunate to have someone with experience working in the cruise industry posting on this thread. IMO, we should appreciate his insight rather than questioning or discounting the information he is sharing. But, this is just my opinion!
