Maps of Ports

We are going on Carnival Dream in July. I am trying to decide on excursions but would love to see a map of the port before we book excursions. Does anyone know if Carnival makes those available or where they can be found? I know Royal Caribbean has maps (or at least they did a couple of years ago) on their website. We are going to Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel. Thanks!

Try Google Maps. I use them all the time to plan travel. You can download on phone, tablet or laptop.

and the detail on googlemaps isn't obliterated by locations of ship's "preferred shopping partners" :)

Exactly what was going through my mind.

I go to Google maps and can zoom in with as much detail as I want for printing. If I find a guidebook that I like (I'll check out some from the local library), I might buy the latest edition, especially if it has some good maps (usually a book that covers all the ports we're going to), to take with.

I am not aware of any such guidebook. And I own A LOT of travel guidebooks. There are some books on cruising, but perhaps I haven't found the right one yet.

Cruise companies do not make maps to scale, only for promotion of the stores with which they have agreements.

Google maps of ports, and Google "map of XXX port" to compare the two.
