alainciao Posted April 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2015 We've booked a veranda cabin on Encore in Feb 2017. Really looking forward to it. I've not been able to find any room size information. They look about the same as the O class (which we have sailed) but I was wondering if anyone has seen actual square foot information. Thanks. English Voyager Posted April 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) We've booked a veranda cabin on Encore in Feb 2017. Really looking forward to it. This website contains detailed information on the Encore. Veranda Suites are 300 sq.ft plus 65 sq.ft balcony. http://www.cruiseshipdeckplan.com/seabourn-encore/ Edited April 23, 2015 by English Voyager
alainciao Posted April 23, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 23, 2015 Thanks. Exactly what I was looking for. I wonder why Seabourn doesn't have this on their website.
secoma4 Posted April 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2015 It's on the web site, albeit a bit obscure. Try Plan a Cruise>eBrochure>Seabourn Ships>Accommodations & Deck Plans
alainciao Posted April 25, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 25, 2015 It's on the web site, albeit a bit obscure. Try Plan a Cruise>eBrochure>Seabourn Ships>Accommodations & Deck Plans Thanks, Secoma. I tried that and it seems to just have the little sisters and the O class. I looked around but couldn't find the Encore.
secoma4 Posted April 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2015 Scroll to the next pages (right) and for get a heading "accommodations" which lists the Odyssey, Sojourn, Quest. The detail is from the hard copy brochure and used to appear on the main part of the web site. The detail on the Encore site is the same as existing Verandah suites, down to the double bowls and joinery. So there is likely to be some change. The way they have chosen to display this information does seem very "clunky".
English Voyager Posted April 26, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) Seabourn has a website dedicated to the Encore. http://encore.seabourn.com/ The suites are described as conceptual...not final. alainciao Posted April 26, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted April 26, 2015 That's what I find interesting, conceptual-not final with steel already cut. Regent has had detailed suite information on their new ship, the Explorer, readily displayed for several months. In my mind it raises a delivery question. Hope I'm all wet. wripro Posted April 26, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2015 The Regent Explorer is further ahead in its construction than the Encore. I wouldn't worry.
markham Posted April 26, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2015 I am hoping for periodic updates on seabourn.com- as there were when Odyssey was built. Seabourn has everyone's interest piqued. Happy sailing!
conchyjoe Posted May 2, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 2, 2015 Interesting that on the Encore they seem to have really cut back on the number of PH suites yet on the existing ships those are often sold out early.

Well spotted, They will sell out quickly but I suspect that Seabourn have worked out that they will make more money out of having more V class suites to sell. conchyjoe Posted May 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted May 4, 2015 Maybe the head shed figures that more PH pax will prefer the new "small ships" which is probably true. I'm missing the real small ships already.
