Hi, firsttime_cruiser2015!

I'm fairly new to cruising myself. I just booked my sixth cruise! I went on the Dawn to Bermuda last August and loved it. I have a tendency to really research my cruises--both the ship and destination, so I compiled quite a bit of information for that cruise. I would be happy to share it with you. If you have an email address, I could send it to you. I have a Word document with Internet links, a map, etc. that I could email to you. Keep in mind, though, that some information may be dated since my cruise was last year. :)

Jenesaisquoi,

Would you mind sending me a copy as well? If possible, as I am sure you have sent many.:)

I really appreciate it! nathalie.narbonne@gmail.com

I have been on the Norwegian Dawn Boston to Bermuda cruise four times (although the first was 13 years ago when it was the Majesty). I have loved every cruise I have been on. I have to admit, though, that I live in the Boston area so part of the reason I choose that cruise is convenience. I find the entertainment on the ship to be top notch. We attended every show in the theatre, sometimes both the early and later shows. And the "game shows" in the Spinnaker (sp??) Lounge are hilarious. I'm not sure if they perform on all Dawn cruises, but do not miss Patti and Jose in the Grand Atrium if they are performing on your cruise.

Sorry for my absence from these boards. Initially, I stopped sending out the information because I received notification that my email account had been hacked. Since I only used it for Cruise Critic correspondences, I became concerned that it had possibly been compromised when I was sending out information about my Dawn cruise. My bigger worry was that my computer and personal information might have been at risk, so I stopped using that email account, and I no longer feel comfortable sending out cruise information via email.

I was going to come back on CC and post the info here, but a family medical situation arose, which has been occupying much of my time and energy. I am now finally able to turn my attention back to more fun topics. I feel bad that some cruisers did not receive my emails who requested them, especially newbies who may benefit the most from the information that I have. I have decided to post what I can here.

I have, however, in this posting already run into issues with CC's limitations on bandwidth. My Word document is too large to attach, so I will have to downsize it. I had already decided to limit it to just links since much of the information is already dated. I have included links to two areas on Cruise Critic that gives more up-to-date information on the Dawn.

New cruisers may not have noticed that they can select just the ship they are sailing on when they are in the NCL forum. I know I didn't at first and scrolled through endless pages looking for information on my ship. I didn't realize that the ship names at the top of the forum page were links that would take you to topics about just those ships! :o

I think the second link may have been posted, but I'm re-posting it just in case and because it's in my Word document. I have attached to this posting a map of Bermuda, an aerial view of a popular beach path, a current bus schedule, and an Excel spreadsheet that I used for planning my 2014 Dawn cruise. I will try to post my Word document in smaller parts. I hope this information will be useful in lieu of emailed documents. :)

Thank you for the information! I know what it is like for a email account to be hacked. This will be helpful on my first trip to Bermuda. I have also gotten a lot of other peoples ideas on what to do there.

I have tried to divide my document into smaller segments, and even 3-4 website links makes the document too large to attach, so I will just insert the most important links here. I will do them a few at a time in case the mods don't like too many links posted at once. :) Note: The current ferry schedule was the hardest thing for me to find!
