Christmas Store in Alaska?

:confused: Does anyone recall a Christmas store at one of the ports in Alaska? A coworker thought she had heard of one but she didn't end up getting off the ship at whichever port this was and now can't remember where it might have been at. Her stops were Juneau, Sitka, Ketchican and Victoria BC...

I believe that in the past there has been a Christmas store in Ketchikan. It isn't on Creek Street but nearer the docks. Also a number of the souvenir shops will have displays of Christmas ornaments.

It has been awhile but in Juneau I think there is a Russian based Christmas store or it may be in Skagway. All sorts of Russian themed Christmas items.

We visited the one in Skagway last year. Picked up a few Alaska themed xmas ornaments for the tree.

Has a Christmas store, can see it from the docks.

Last time there even had Santa Claus sitting in

his chair.

 

I was surprised the prices were good because

most things have to fly in or come by ship.

Confirmed five days ago: Christmas store in Ketchikan near dock 1.

There is a Russian store in Sitka that has a lot of Christmas themed items. It is on the main road near St. Michael's.
