Clothing for dinner Alaska on Norwegian Sun

We will be on Norwegian Sun in the first half of September cruising Alaska from Seward to Vancouver...

 

What do the ladies wear for dinner ?

 

On our Med cruise on Norwegian Spirit in October 2 years ago, people dressed up for supper in the main dining rooms...

Like every cruise line I am aware of, dress codes apply fleet wide, and don't vary by destination.

I'm on board the Pearl right now in Alaska. Men generally wear slacks and collared shirts, while ladies wear slacks and a nice top or a skirt or long skirt with a sweater.

We saw everything on the Jewel last year. I had a black after five dress I wore and I wore sweater/ tunics with leggings. I'm kinda hot natured so this year I have thinner sweater/ blouses that I will wear with leggings. And of course a new little black dress.

On NCL, which I sailed 4 times in Alaska last year, you can see tshirts/jeans, every night in most of the dining rooms. :)

Sincere thanks to everyone for your replies...it is a great help, It seems to me that any decent style of dressing is acceptable.

 

We are counting the days to our Alaska cruise in September.

I agree with BG, pretty much anything goes. We usually wear what we have been wearing during the day, as long as it is clean. I wear slacks and a solid color long-sleeved Henley shirt. I'll change out of sneakers to loafers. My husband wears slacks and a plaid long-sleeved shirt.
