Freedom Class

Recommended Posts

Question, of the three ships, Freedom, Independence, Liberty, which one requires the least amount of pre-cruise planning. Which one will I have the most traditional cruising experience? The last time I cruised was in 2010 on the Oasis. The Freedom, when I was on her in 2007 still had no advanced planning required for shows.

Thanks, all.

Aside from minor differences in decor and names of areas, they are the same ship! You will only need to "plan" if you are doing MTD....otherwise, the shows are scheduled around the 2 traditional seating times.

Love the Freedom class ships...really no pre-planning required on this class of ship. Have sailed on the Indy & Liberty numerous times and I really prefer them over the Oasis class...JMHO.

I was on Freedom last October, and Indy last January (2014), neither required any pre booking of entertainment or dining. We just made specialty restaurant plans once we were onboard, and walked right in to the shows.
