Locked Postings?

I read a post dated 5-17-15 and titled "Lost weight from Westerdam Food". I wanted to reply to this poster but the post its locked. Does anyone know why this happened?

 

The poster responded to one of my post so I asked her if she locked it so no one could reply. She said she did not lock it and did not know why this happened.

 

Has anyone ever seen this before? This is odd...

Threads are locked by moderators if they violate the Cruise Critic Terms of Service. This can be for many reasons but most common is they start to get combative or confrontational.

The board moderator can lock down a thread of things get too tense and hostile.

Thanks for the information on this. It's unfortunate that someone posting their opinion ends up being censured because some posters don't like what is being said and they go on the attack. I wonder if the posters responding with attacking the poster with negativity had their posting rights suspended.
