Just off the Grandeur

Recommended Posts

Just off the 7 night sailing to Bahamas/Florida on the Grandeur. This was our first cruise on RCCL and we are not impressed. The rooms were dirty, customer service was terrible, and shore excursion staff was plain rude. Not all was bad though...enjoyed MDR food as well as the spa.

Hope things work out better for you than they did for me after I wrote a "negative" review of my Grandeur cruise in April. It seems some folk took it personally, as they really enjoyed the same cruise. People tend to see things from different perspectives. Perhaps you could be a little more specific about your perspective.

Also just got off Grandeur on same cruise. The rooms were clean, customer service was wonderful, all staff were nice. MDR food was excellent. Didn't go to spa.

Did you report your "dirty" room? They will reclean a room if you say something. You said "the rooms". How many rooms did you have? Or are you just assuming they were all dirty?

Our experience on GR (and smaller ships) is the crew is extremely friendly and you see the same people all the time.

It would be nice if you expanded what you experienced......because without that it is difficult to know what you specifically are basing your determinations on.

Let me ask about the entertainment on board: Did you enjoy the entertainment and what did you participate in? How was the entertainment staff themselves as they interacted and engaged with cruisers, if you had any interaction or participation in activities on board.
