Upgrade fairy on TA bookings, too?

Never got a call from the so-called upgrade fairy, but I'm wondering if that's because I book through a TA vs PCC?

 

If upgrade offers can occur with TA bookings, too, who makes the call to me? TA or NCL?

Your TA will receive the offer and relay it to you (if they are a good TA)

I have always booked with a TA and have never received an upgrade offer. Now this has me wondering...since I haven't had the greatest TA's in the past. :(

I'm platinum latitudes, booked through a TA every time and have also NEVER been called for an upsell offer. I know people that have been called a few times but have booked directly through NCL.

I have gotten 2 upsell offers from 2 different TA's in 6 years.

yes - I have received them for clients and passed them along. It's not only if you book through NCL. Also, it's only email now. No phone calls.

I received mine in a call from my TA on Friday (8 days out). It is very strange because I received a true upgrade on my last sailing with HAL. Two in a row sounds incredible from what others have said. I guess I have been blessed.

 

Another possible reason might be the TA has a block of expensive rooms and they do the upsell or upgrade. Is this even possible? Anyways it has happened and we are excited to try the Haven Spa Suites.
