ger_77 Posted June 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2015 We are travelling through MSP to FLL later this year. We haven't flown through MSP for a while and am wondering if Canadians still have to collect their luggage, transfer it to a belt and go through customs/immigration, or do we just go to customs/immigration without worrying about waiting for luggage? Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)
6rugrats Posted June 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2015 From what Canadian airport are you flying? Does it have US preclearance?
Rare FlyerTalker Posted June 3, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2015 The flights from Saskatoon do NOT have preclearance, so you will go through I&C at MSP, then change to your onward flight. Full procedures, unfortunately, so give yourself plenty of time.
ger_77 Posted June 4, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the info - the Delta flight we are looking at only has 66 minutes between flights. Sadly, it's the quickest way to get from YXE to FLL and there's only the 1 connection, but cutting it too close might mean missing the connection. Decisions, decisions . . . Smooth Sailing! :) :) :) Edited June 4, 2015 by ger_77
