Hi,

I am considering a last minute mini 4 day cruise on the Oriana and could do with some advise from anyone that has sailed on her.

I can't decide what cabin to go for - it doesn't seem to explain the difference between an 'outside' and 'outside deluxe' am also tempted to go for a balcony cabin, but not sure as won't be in the cabin that much (hopefully) and is it worth the extra money?

Any advise is much appreciated

many thanks in advance

I am not sure what the difference is between outside and deluxe but think the latter may be slightly bigger - does it matter for 4 days?

Certainly a balcony is not worth it for 4 days, after all there is the back decks to sit out on if you feel that way inclined

I've been on a 4 nighter on Oriana and can recommend the outside cabins on E Deck - nice and handy for the MDR and the Atrium. Nice little sofa too to sit on which you don't get on the larger ships (unless you have a balcony!)

IF you book - enjoy the cruise!

We have also had a nice outside cabin on E deck and agree with P&O Sue - nice and handy and also stable in rocky seas as well. Spacious enough.

Our friends had an Outside Deluxe on C which I have to say was lovely - it had a sort of vestibule, a larger bathroom with shower over as opposed to the shower cubicle in our Outside cabin and a very nice seating area, which you could curtain off from the (also larger) bedroom area. It all seemed quite a bit larger than ours.

I guess it would depend on how much you wanted to pay and what the difference in price was.
