romantic drinks

Recommended Posts

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary this past January and spent the evening with drinks in the Crow's Nest sailing out of Grand Cayman. We were the only people in the room besides the bartender and waitresses. It was perfect -- the lights were low, it was dark outside, and it was a delightful place to be with DH for an evening.

Don't know what ship you will be on.

If you like classical music, have after dinner drinks in the Explorer Lounge while listening to the Adagio Duo.

Crows Nest is also quiet.

Ocean Bar has the group "The Band" playing there.

Crow's nest on any HAL ship is far from quiet if the DJ is playing music. It's so loud you can't hear the person sitting next to you.:(

On our last HAL cruise the Crows Nest was rockin' - the DJ was leading line dancing, lots of loud music and an SRO crowd made it a fun place to be, but not if you wanted quiet and romantic.

I'd second the suggestion of getting drinks and finding a spot on one of open decks to enjoy them.

If you are on a ship with a standalone disco, the Crow's Nest is pretty quiet at night. The DJ is down in the Disco. There used to be a solo guitar player in the Crow's Nest, but that's apparently gone.

We are no show lovers. So i was wondering what is the best place on the ship for a nice, quiet, romantic drink in the evening?

Part of the fun in this is exploring and finding your own special spot. There are lots of nooks and crannies in every ship. Find more than one!!
