Royal Princess tenders

Princess gives priority to people on their tours, passengers in suites and passengers who are Elite inthe Captain's Circle. All other passengers are instructed to go to a lounge where numbered tickets are given out. As space is available on a tender, a range of numbers is called to the tender. It is often 90 minutes or so after tendering starts that all wishing to get off right a way are accommodated.

As CB said, if you are not in a hurry, just have a relaxed breakfast and wait for the initial rush to finish.

Note that all in a group must go to get their tender tickets. They will not hand out tickets for people who are not there.

We just returned from the British Isle cruise. Getting off the ship was never a porblem. We were the first to be off at Guernsey and we to wait for quite some time on the tender while waiting for more people to show up. Each boat carries abput 160 pssengers. There was no queues at 7:30 since not much is open in town until 10:00. The return trip could be moe problematic. There was another local cruise ship in port and we had to share the pier with their tenders which coniderable slowed down the process. The queue by 1:30 had become frustrating long. The ship's deprture was delayed by an hour. The process was much more smooth in Edinbrough. No long ways either way.
