Complimentary beverages for Grill guests on QM 2

The mini-bar is stocked with complimentary spirits / wines / soft drinks and sparkling / still water. Any items consumed will be replenished upon request and charged to your shipboard account thereafter.

Items placed in the mini-bar will be dependent on choice, your requests can be made with your butler / stateroom steward.

There are complimentary beverages in the mini fridges in Queen's Grill, but not in Princess Grill.

Last time we were on board in PG we received complimentary water and soft drinks in the room. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Thanks.

We got complimentary water, but would have had to pay for the sodas in the fridge if we had drunk them.

you will get the two litres of spirits for no extra charge. They give you a slip of paper with about ten items to choose from. Be very nice to your butler and ignore the limited choice.

 

When you've guzzled the lot, ask very nicely for more (if you have to) and you will not be charged. It all depends on how well you get on with the butler.

 

Remember, on QM2 you also have access to the concierge lounge where tea, coffee, juice and pastries can be had all day at no additional cost.

 

It's also a good place to read the papers.

 

We always augment the bar with half a dozen Widows which we bring along.

If you are charged for it, it is not complimentary.

Wait, did something change? My last couple of trips, I was in QG and got the large 1 liter bottles of hooch at no charge but the small travel bottles and mixers / cokes in the fridge / mini bar were charged for on the daily bill.

In all our QG cruises we have never been charged for anything out of the 'fridge and it has been replenished daily. We have never used all our spirits, so don't know if we would have been charged for replacement bottles, but when having guests in for drinks, extra wine and bubbly has been supplied free of charge.

We have travelled Queen's Grill on two crossings. On each one the butler informed us that when we finished the two bottles they would be replenished without charge. Even with help from our table-mates at a drinks reception we didn't finish the two bottles. There was no charge for the contents of the fridge.
