Just come on this site to post the same. Very tempted as well Flopsy. We enjoyed it last year and would like to see Cartagena that we missed due to the weather. Slightly cheaper than we paid last year but no drinks package included this time!! What to do. I've tried putting in East Midlands but I don't think there are any flights left.:)
lexie1968 Posted July 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2015 We are looking at doing this cruise also. Have asked a few questions on the facebook page. Is it likely to get any cheaper?

However we managed to persuade them to open the casino and I made a LOT of money playing blackjack so it all ended well :D ps- we docked right in the centre of Barcelona, right at the bottom of Ramblas and only 100 yards from the HOHO bus stop. Flopsy Posted July 24, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) Oh I remember sitting on deck watching a drone flying over- it hit the cable for the cable car and dropped like a stone into the dock! Someone's expensive toy lost forever. Maggie- this cruise has never been offered from East Mid- only Birmingham- I've been watching it for months. Yes it would be nice to see Cartagena this time! Yes it would be nice to see Cartagena this time! We much preference East Mids as it's only 25 minutes away. Birmingham is over an hour. Still tempted. We will have to make our mind up soon incase it goes back up. We really enjoyed Gibraltar, we took a taxi tour and if we go again would like to just have a good look around. campolady Posted September 15, 2015 #23 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I've went on this 5 night cruise last year- there is no formal night. Thanks for clearing that up Flopsy. We keep looking at this cruise - would only need flights out to Palma as it ends in our home port of Malaga and we can get a bus from the port gates to virtually our front door. Did you enjoy the short cruise last year? Decisions, decisions lol!!!!!
Flopsy Posted September 15, 2015 Author #24 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Yes we enjoyed it last year- 5 nights felt like a week! Although no sea day was in the plan we ended up with one as it was too rough to dock at Cartegena and the harbour master closed the port, so the captain said 'we will stay safely at sea'. Although the waves were huge the ship felt very stable and the entertainment team leapt into action providing us with things to door indoors! We did a 5 night one the year before -from Palma to Cyprus in April- the weather was glorious- lovely cruise but long flight home!
