sail7seas Posted July 25, 2015 #26 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Call your Congressman's Office. They work wonders at getting passports expedited.
Rare Roz Posted July 25, 2015 #27 Share Posted July 25, 2015 Passports are normally processed at your regional center, but sometimes during busy times (this is one of them) if one or two get overloaded, they spread the workload around to other centers. ShipsandDipper Posted July 25, 2015 #28 Share Posted July 25, 2015 If it were me I would be calling my congressman's office first thing on Monday morning so that his office could help make sure those passports are done and shipped on Monday. kolakola Posted July 27, 2015 Author #29 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Yes I will call again tomorrow. When I last called my congressman's they said they would call back and never did. I was very disappointed. Thanks
sail7seas Posted July 27, 2015 #30 Share Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Call another Congressman from your state and tell them you tried his colleague and got no help. Chances are the staff will want to impress you so they are more efficient. Don't call Rep. Markey...... he's in Africa with the President. Maybe his top staff is with him? kolakola Posted July 27, 2015 Author #31 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Thanks for your suggestion. Also Markey is a senator not a congressman (with Elizabeth Warren). I called McGovern but I'll look again tomorrow to another congressman.

kolakola Posted July 27, 2015 Author #34 Share Posted July 27, 2015 You're so nice for doing this list, you did not have to! I appreciate it. I'll try McGovern again and complain, since I'm in that district. Thank you, and no worries! :) Haha
kolakola Posted July 29, 2015 Author #35 Share Posted July 29, 2015 The last remaining one came! We talked to our congressman office, filled a privacy release and it turned out great. The last one came today and they even shipped it with UPS with overnight shipping. I am so thankful to my congressman, Jim McGovern and his office. Thank you to you all for helping me, without this forum I would not have known that congressman's office helped, and they really do!:)
