johnstoc13 Posted August 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2015 Done some research, but have seen conflicting info. Just wanted to know if the Hibachi on Oasis was able to be reserved in advance or not. I see the option for Izumi reservations on the Cruise Planner, but not for hibachi specifically. Don't want to miss this opportunity!
maryjaden Posted August 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2015 We reserved it in advance, but we had to call. I was not able to do it on the website. It does fill fast because of the limited tables.

suzyluvs2cruise Posted September 6, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2015 Would love to try the Hibachi experience but am curious how pricing works. In Cruise Planner it shows a $30pp cover charge with a menu showing a la carte pricing. Hope someone who has already enjoyed the experience can share how it works. In Cruise Planner it shows a $30pp cover charge with a menu showing a la carte pricing. Hope someone who has already enjoyed the experience can share how it works. Pricing is 30pp for 1 meat and 35pp for 2 meats. No BOGO's can be used. Rice is included along with the entertainment of watching it be prepared. That's all I've got as we didn't go. The Hibachi has 3 cook top tables and seats 8 per cook area. Extremely entertaining and we will definitely go back to this again next time. Dinkachu Posted September 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2015 We just brooked the Izumi Hibachi for Allure through the RCCL website. You go to the Dining Option, and scroll down to Izumi Hibachi - click on that and they will ask for date and time. If the time you want is not available, they will let you know that you must choose another day and time. You will also be informed if there is a conflict with a show or other activity. Dinner at Izumi (Hibachi Experience) Izumi (Hibachi Experience) INCREDIBLE ASIAN CUISINE – A LA CARTE A fusion of fresh pan-Asian flavors served impeccably – that's Izumi. 0 From* $30.00USD Adult You purchased this item on 2015-09-04 22:27:39. Dinkachu Posted September 7, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 7, 2015 No open flame correct? That is how NCL does it. No onion volcanoes :( There are no open flames on this Hibachi ... so no onion volcanoes. You do get 1 or, for an additional fee, 2 proteins (choose Beef, Chicken, Lobster, Shrimp - or a combination). There are 3 sauces you can choose. And you get either a Soup or Ginger Salad, Rice or Noodles, Grilled Veggies, and a Dessert such as Ice Cream or a Small Pastry. Additional fees if you add Sushi, Spring Rolls, Etc. You can also purchase Saki or Asian Beer or Special Cocktails.
IndianaWineCouple Posted September 7, 2015 #14 Share Posted September 7, 2015 We heard about a lunch special at Izumi one day and had the second level of the restaurant all to ourselves. Our total was about $80 with plenty to eat and drink. The sushi and hot rock were fantastic!
