I hope Mid-Atlantic Ridge doesn't mind me reposting this. It was buried in another thread so I thought I would start a new one with a more appropriate title.

In addition to this information, it appears the QE will be in Sydney on Feb 25, 2017 and the QV is scheduled to be there twice, March 6 and then again on March 10th.

Does anyone have any info for QV and QE?

Here's what appears to be the whole thing. Apologies for the formatting it was copy and pasted from an agency website.

I take no responsibility for accuracy of the information! This is for QM2.

We have had to cancel our last two bookings (health problems) and are looking ahead (for something to look forward to).

Your posting is very much appreciated. Thank you!

(I would love to see Sydney harbor---God willing, if the creek don't rise).

Thank you for posting, NH, I have been waiting for it. There is one thing which can't be correct: Portimao is in Portugal and should be put fore Lisbon.

I suspect Portimao is a rogue entry, there is another day which shows the ship in 2 completely unrelated places - 13th Feb.

I too am keen to see the 2017 itineraries for QV and QE. QM2 isn't coming to Auckland in 2017, so I am hoping that either or both of QV and QE will be coming. Unfortunately the Ports of Auckland site doesn't have cruise ship details for 2017 yet, so I can't tell from there.

On pins waiting for all the official itineraries.

Hi Gill,

we are waiting for the 2017 itineraries too and hope to find a good one! I hope you are doing well. I hope the health of your parents has improved? I remember you were booked on a cruise with us but had to cancel due to their health.

It was/ is mum, and no, nothing has changed and she is very, very frail, but we keep looking and planning so that when we CAN go, we will know exactly what we want to book.

I love the QV itinerary - I would have prefered to do South America on QM2, but this is certainly the next best thing!

I would have been inspired if as you say if QM2 was going around South America. She has not done this as far as I recall since 2009. The Commodore told a group of us at a Cruise Critic meet & greet on the 2012 world cruise they had no intention of taking QM2 there again as some ports of call were a problem. For instance they had to dredge the harbour in Montevideo. On hearing this we booked a world cruise 2013 on a different line and it was not as good as Cunard.

However, one thing we did enjoy was calling in a lot more ports in the South Pacific, which Cunard do not do. Easter Island and the Pitcairn's are not ports where you stop. They are usually just a sail by. Which I always find it miss leading that they list these Islands as ports.

So realistically looking at QV the crossing of the South Pacific from Valparaiso there is only three ports of call before you reach New Zealand. Shame as all the islands in the SP are just so beautiful. Why no Fiji, or Noumea or Pago Pago. I see Apia is the only port on the return leg across the Pacific. That is only one port of call before Honolulu.

In South America a lot of the ports listed are sail by's also. Scenic cruising all very beautiful a bit like a cross between Alaska and Norway. :)

I think after a look at all the itineraries I am not inspired at the moment as I have next years world segment to do and also no new ports of call for us as we have done them all before, so we now need a new globe or map of the world to look at! :) :) I am sure something will get me nearer the time. ;)

QM2 is doing South America on 2016 world cruise

I am glad to see that a few agents have the itineraries available to view. I wish Cunard's website was one of them though. Oh well, I will look through over and over and over :p again until the 9th of September when Members can book. It will take a bit of work to come up with a viable option for us, but it is so exciting........

Quite right! She is I had forgotten as I am going on QE. (senior moment) ;)

It will be the first time QM2 has been Round the Horn though for some years I think 2009 was the last time as we were on her for a segment of that world cruise. 2016 Should be good fun and certainly interesting. Happy cruising.

Hi Barbara, Hope you are well. Are you planning doing the full world or a segment? We will be back on QE next year and also in November this year. Hope to see you again in the future. Regards Maggie.
