A (Delayed) Photo Review! Oasis of the Seas: Western Caribbean - 5/23-/5/30/15

Day 4 - Falmouth, Jamaica

We didn't have anything planned for Falmouth and were just going to wing it. We took our time getting off the ship, walked around a bit, and ate lunch at Margaritaville. We also took a very (*please place emphasis on the word very*) short walk outside of the port. That was quite the experience. I'll leave it at that.

View from our cabin out over the Port of Falmouth.

(The next 2 photos were taken later in day, not too long before we departed.)

As I mentioned before, we mainly just walked around the port and then ate at Margaritaville.

Well that's it for Falmouth! Next up will be Day 5, which will consist mostly of pictures from the All Access Tour. (I may or may not get to that tonight. If not, they'll definitely be posted tomorrow!:))

Oh wow! These photos are really bringing this ship alive. We were on Allure last Thanksgiving and will be on Oasis this Thanksgiving for the Western route. I really can't wait until November now and that's a hard thing to say as living in Chicago doesn't bring good winter thoughts. Thanks for all your time putting this together I can't wait to read and see more!

Room Steward/Cabin Attendant

Before I forget, I wanted to include a little bit about our cabin steward. I'm not sure how I forgot to include this in my post about our cabin. Anyway, our room steward was Ophelia from Jamaica and she was GREAT! She greeted us multiple times a day with a wonderful personality. We like to get to know the crew, and we got to have several very nice conversations with her. Our room was always clean, and she was always there to help. If we were walking down the hall to or from our room, we always knew if she was somewhere in the area because we would hear her singing. She loved Ed Sheeran, lol! Probably our best cabin steward to date.

Day 5 - Sea Day & All Access Tour

Other than the All Access Tour, I don't have many pictures from the second sea day. I think the All Access was scheduled for 9. We almost missed it! Not really paying attention, we used our phones to check the time that morning, however, they had adjusted to whatever time zone we were in at the time. We thought it was only 8 and we're planning on getting a nice breakfast and taking our time. Good thing I checked my watch! Luckily, we managed to have a few minutes to spare. We didn't get to eat breakfast though...

The tour started in the Aquatheater, but I didn't get any pictures from there.

Next up was the Galley!

Cabin: This was also our first cruise in a suite. We stayed in Grand Suite 12660. We originally had cabin 8254, but thanks to Cruise Critic, I knew that the Oasis Class ships always dock on the starboard side,

Do they really? All the time? Always?

That's what I've read here on CC. I think they only dock on the port side if they need to do lifeboat testing or something to that effect.

I guess you could say that they dock on the starboard side majority of the time..;)

Great Review so far...we'll be on her in 5 weeks doing the same itinerary. Do you have any pictures of Margaritaville's pool? I'm wondering how crowded it gets.

Thank you!

Sorry, the only photos of Margaritaville I had are the ones I already posted. But, I didn't notice the pool being overly crowded when I was there.
