Feeling a little hungry, we decide to check out Fat Jimmy’s C-Side BBQ…..

The line was not that long at all. I’ve heard that it could be up to a half hour at times…..

CB0538.JPG

I see kielbasa and sausage cooking on the grill…..

CB0539.JPG

I’m waiting in line for my turn…..

We ate our lunch inside at the Ocean Plaza. Afterwards, Patti wanted to purchase a coupon book at the shopping kiosk by the Red Frog Pub, so she took a few more pictures along the way. Here are some more of the Red Frog Pub…..

Soon it was time for the roll call slot pull. Here we are for the sign up at the casino bar…..

CB0562.JPG

The entry fee was $15. Everyone would pull 5 times. When we were done, we would split any winnings. There were prizes for the best individual pulls…..

CB0563.JPG

This was the Wheel of Fortune machine that we would be playing…..

CB0570.JPG

Here we are getting ready to start. And then cheering every player on……

Ryan takes his turn…..

CB0569.JPG

CB0572.JPG

After we all went we had not done so well, and would have gotten about $10 back. We decided to just keep on playing until we hit something big, or ran out of money. Of course, we ran out of money, but a great time was had by all. Patti took home some hardware for tying for the best individual pull. Way to go babe!!

CB0573.JPG

Now it was time for the slot tournament. I am going to sit this one out, but Patti and Ryan were going to give it a shot…..

CB0576.JPG

Ryan and Patti are racking up the points…..

Ryan and Patti are at the top of the leader board where they will remain, and qualify for the final round. Good job guys!!

CB0580.JPG

CB0581.JPG

The finals of the blackjack tournament are about to begin. I wound up as the 2nd highest qualifier…..

This is what we were playing for, plus a ship on a stick, and a seat at the $100,000 Grand Final…..

CB0591.JPG

Ryan is rooting me on, but I busted out after the 4th hand. Boo me!!!!

CB0593.JPG

Here is my invitation to the Diamond Party with Captain Marino…..

Here I am outside of the Liquid Lounge. Patti and Ryan were both in the slot tournament finals, so she would join me at the party afterwards.

CB0597.JPG

I regret that I didn’t get any pictures at the Diamond Party, as I had great conversations with Captain Marino, many of the ship’s officers, and with Matt Mitcham the CD. What a nice young man, and I made sure to congratulate him for being named the CD of the Carnival Vista. There were plenty of snacks, and the drinks were flowing freely. Meanwhile, Ryan and Patti were participating in the slot tournament finals…..

CB0598.JPG

Unfortunately, neither Patti nor Ryan would finish in the money. Oh well, better luck next time!

After the Diamond Party, Patti and I had a few drinks at the Red Frog Pub, and even tried the Grouper fingers, which were very good.

Soon it was time to get ready for, and head to the first elegant night dinner. Here we are at dinner…..

CB0603.JPG

CB0604.JPG

Here is the American Feast menu…..

CB0605.JPG

Again I was lax at taking the food porn pictures. It WILL get better, I promise. I started off with a shrimp cocktail, and the Italian wedding soup, while Patti started off with the spaghetti carbonara…..

Ryan had his usual grilled chicken breast…..

CB0607.JPG

Patti and I both enjoyed these…..

CB0608.JPG

Here is the American Feast dessert menu. Patti and I both just had some ice cream…..

CB0609.JPG

It’s time for my daily ORANGE chandelier rant. Though some of the chandelier looks white due to the flash, believe me when I tell you that it is all ORANGE. Okay, that’s the last time…..

CB0610.JPG

Tonight, the waiters started off by singing “That’s Amore”……

CB0612.JPG

They followed that by dancing to “Celebration”…..

After dinner Ryan and I went to the 10pm comedy show featuring Jaylyn Bishop. She was very good…..

CB0618.JPG

Patti passed the Piano Bar 88, where piano player Brad had the crowd singing along…..

CB0623.JPG

CB0624.JPG

She then stopped at the Fun Hub to check emails, then made her way back to the cabin…..

CB0626.JPG

After the comedy show, I played blackjack for an hour or so, winning a $100 before calling it a night.

Here is tonight’s turndown service and towel animal…..

CB0627.JPG

The Platinum / Diamond gift is a journal. We had a lot of fun today!!

Another Fantastic Jamman Review, thank you! I hope you'll agree that the Breeze is an amazing ship!

Thanks for reading, and yes, the Breeze is amazing!

I'm just thinking I feel sorry for the person who sat on that stool after that female got up

Gross

Patti's words exactly.

You are not alone Jeff. I noticed that as well in the Blush Dining Room. We sat on the Upper Level on our cruise in March on the Breeze. All the pics that I took in the dining room look orange/red. The last two nights at dinner when the waiters performed I walked down to the lower level to get some good pics

Hey gang!! I will be posting some more pages later today.

But first, on this day, I felt compelled to post a few pictures from some of my early cruises from New York......

A029.jpg

D008.jpg

This last one was taken less than two months before the attack....

Z025.jpg

Living and working in close proximity to New York City, I guess we feel this day a little more than the rest of the nation and the world. It was a day I will never forget. Though we didn't know anyone personally that lost their lives that day, some of our friends did. Several members of our community and the surrounding area did perish that day.

We will never forget!!!!!

Glad it wasn't just Patti and me that noticed this. :D Really not a big issue, just an observation.

Great review so far. The play by play for the 1st round of the blackjack tournament was fantastic. As a blackjack player myself I couldn't scroll down fast enough to see how your bets/hand played out! :)

Thanks for following along! Patti took a lot of pictures so it made it easy to tell the story. Glad you liked it.

Thank you Jeff for posting this! My dad is a firefighter and I remember this day all too well. I remember all the little girls (just like me at the time) whose dads would never come home that day. Still hits too close too home.

May we never forget all those who lost loved ones that day!

QUOTE=cruizinrican;47708271]I love this review so far but I'm only to the first night dinner at the brick house.

Not sure what happened to your son and might have missed that post but I'm very sorry to hear that's he's passed. I send my deepest condolences. May God bless you all.

So the Thrill Theater only shows kids movies all week?!

Thanks for reading and for your kind words. Our son Kevin passed away in a car accident in May 2014. He was 19 years old.

Not all of the Thrill Theater offerings are kid orientated.
