Has anyone just been on Indy and noticed whether they still have the large round dining table under the chandelier. ? We are booked for next year and wanted to know whether they are using that table as a normal table or a Captains table ?

Looking through my pics (August 30 2015 - Sept 6 cruise), I see a round table under the chandelier. I can't confirm if that is a captain's table or not.

Thank you for the reply. We were going to request the large round table for our party of 4 so we can meet fellow cruisers.

In all of my cruises, that table is always the "Captain's Table".

 

Why would you want THAT table? Just request a large table and your party of four will be assigned a large table with the other seats filled by other passengers.

Trying to avoid the Captains table, but wanted the largest possible table because of the opportunities to meet more people over dinner.

I have read threads on CC that the Captains table was being phased out ? Of course we would love to be invited to the Captains table, but like i said we want to be on the largest table possible to chat to fellow passengers and gets tips and advice.
