Pools open in port

Hi. We will be on adventure of the seas in January and I can't recall if the pools will be open while in port. We have 5 ports in 7 days and would like a quiet day on the ship, probably while in St Kitts. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the pools are open when the ships are in port. Also the Windjammer is open for lunch. We are finding that more and more people are staying on the ships when we are in port.

Open on Embarkation Day before you even set sail.

We've stayed onboard in several ports and come back onboard for lunch in others and the pools are always open. Unlike other lines, they are open at night too.

at least one pool and one hot tub will be open 24/7. they only close them down late at night( think after 11 pm) and even then it is one at a time for cleaning/treating.

 

hell you can watch the movie at night in the pool if you are so inclined on the ships that have the jumbotron on the pool deck.

It's so funny to me that this is a question. Back when we went on the SS Emerald Seas when I was in 6th Grade, the pool was ONLY open when we were in port! And you had to climb down about 3-4 feet before you even hit the water!

Some of my best "excursions" have been ones spent on the ship

 

It is nice spending the day around the pool (Or anywhere around the ship) with the small amount of people that stay on board.

 

Sometimes a pool or hot tub is down for repairs/cleaning since most people are off the ship, but that is the exception not the rule, and most of the time everything is open.

I'm going on a cruise in February that I have zero interest in getting off the ship. They'd better have pools and bars open!!
