Slots in Casino?

First time on HAL on the Westerdam, Dec 26.

On Princess, you put your sail card in the slot machine, set up a casino account, and you can take money from your sail card to your casino account to use to play the slots with no fee. I have OBC to use.

Can you do this with HAL? Or do you have to use cash only? Or do you have to go to the casino cage to get money from your sail card?

Sounds like the way HAL does it as well. You set up your information and password one time and then whenever you play you insert your cabin key (much like you do with your slot card in a land based casino). It normally asks you if you want to charge your play to your cabin account (or something to that effect). Very quick and easy. You can use cash as well (naturally!).

The simple answer is "Yes."

Do they charge you a fee to take money out of your sail card at the casino cage?
Yes, 3% just like at the front desk for a straight cash advance ... but you can do the work-around of first using a slot machine to put money on your card from your on-board account and playing a little before cashing out. Then there's no fee.
