Has anyone had reservations with Carmel Limo to get picked up at Cape Liberty cruise port? I am trying to figure out where exactly I need to meet the car to be picked up. The lady I talked to from Carmel Limo said she doesn't know  She said the driver will call me but I am travelling from Canada and don't want to get charged outrageous roaming fees by having my cell phone on. Can anyone provide any help or input?

Cape Liberty has numbered pick up areas. When you disembark you will have to call Carmel and they will inform you where to meet the driver.

Michelle - whenever we travel to the US we swap our SIM card. We've got unlocked cell phones, and have SIMs from http://www.roammobility.com which is a Vancouver based company specializing in Canadians travelling to the US and Mexico.

You can buy their SIM cards in stores across Canada (most Staples/Bureau en Gros and most stores that sell Presidents Choice products).

We top up these SIMs whenever we're headed to the US...it's easy enough to do, their rates are pretty good for short trips, and best of all, their prices are in Canadian dollars!
