Dress Code Question

Sorry for this question - I looked quickly but could not find my answer. I know for formal nights men must have jackets but anyone have any experience with children? Does my 11 year old boy have to have a jacket? I am good with a nice pants and a shirt and tie but I don't really want to spend the $$ for a jacket if I don't have to. :)

No need for a jacket. At 11, he will be spiffy as all getout just the way you have said!!! :D

Kind of off topic, but on the Equinox a few years ago, a Scottish family with three young boys were all dressed in kilts for formal night. Can you say "adorable"?
