CAS hot drink card at the casino bar without playing

Just curious as the website explicitly states "Complimentary House Drinks While Playing" have you ever experienced that the bar staff or CAS staff gave you a hard time staying at the bar and drinking there on the card without playing the VP machines?

 

I never had problems with either ordering a drink before going to a machine or taking a water bottle when exiting but I never stayed sitting at the bar.

We have been on about 15 cruises with the CAS free drink card. Never had a problem. Often my husband would just take our two cards up to the bar and get two at a time:cool:

No problem. We stop at the bar and grab a couple of drinks to take to the room each night (i.e. don't even stay in the casino). Never had any problem with this. In fact, on many cruises, the bartenders know exactly what you want as "take away" drinks and just confirm before making them.

Thanks everyone I am happy to hear that as my casino budget won't be big enough to play daily through a b2b cruise. And this time I won't have the UBP.
