If you are interested, the cabanettes on cococay are now available to purchase online for my dates, 11/29, and earlier. Not sure about later. Before you had to purchase when you boarded.

It's called Beach Lounger, is $50 per person and includes:

Bottled water

Two floating mats

Clamshell lounger for two

Quiet side of island

Towels

Fruit platter

Personal attendant

Transportation to lunch and tender

May not be worth to some but may be worth to others! :D

Thanks, first time I've seen the Coco Cay cabinettes available pre-cruise. Maybe they will also start offering the cabanas pre-cruise.

I was excited to see it available! We booked it. $50 for two of us, worth it to us, it's our first cruise. :p

I was excited to see it available! We booked it. $100 for two of us, worth it to us, it's our first cruise. :p

I didn't read your first post closely, I thought the price used to be $50 for two people. I'm afraid to see the cabana prices.

$50 is not for cabanas...might be for clam shells.....

Yes, that's what I said.

Just to confirm, I spoke with two different people at Royal Caribbean (apparently they have the same reputation as Disney - everyone gives a different answer! :p)

Both confirmed that each package is for two, so only make the reservation under one name for two people - otherwise you will be charged $49.95 each, which would result in two packages, so 4 of everything! :D

Again, this was what was explained to me by the RC reps on the phone, so take it as you will.

I only booked under my name. Worst comes to worst, one of us will have to sit in the sand, while the other enjoys a fruit platter. :D
