Has anyone residing in the US ever booked in CDN$

I know it comes up quite frequently about many in other countries. Booking in US$ to get a better rate but has anyone living in the US booked in CDN$ to take advantage of the strong US$.

 

The reason I ask is I just noticed that the prices for the 16 day Rhapsody TA are cheaper in CDN$ than they are in US$ and that is before calculating the almost 30% exchange rate benefit.

 

Oceanview room $499 US or $479 CDN which would be $365 US$

 

Plus by booking in CDN$ you could also buy US$ OBC at the 10% exchange rate and come out even further ahead.

That sailing was mentioned in another thread - the flight to Barcelona and back from Sao Paulo are likely big factors from being booked by many in the US. Otherwise the cruise itself is a great deal.
