markandallan Posted October 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2015 Hi can anyone who has sailed recently and specifically on Explorer of the seas tell me if they do or do not have the coffee pod machines in the junior suites. There seems to be different answers to this on the forum. Thanks

Trainman-2 Posted October 22, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2015 I thought it was good and is certainly better than having to get dressed early in the morning to go find some coffee.
hollon Posted October 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2015 Is it the keurig kcups in the junior suites?
Big_G Posted October 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Is it the keurig kcups in the junior suites? Not a Keurig but a single cup brewer and they provide multi-cup filter pack/pods. Edited October 22, 2015 by Big_G

mikmouse Posted October 22, 2015 #16 Share Posted October 22, 2015 I thought it was good and is certainly better than having to get dressed early in the morning to go find some coffee. It was good. However, the coffee station does not have electric power. It was a pain to move it to the desk to use it. Seemed strange that they would do that. Maybe when Adventure of the Seas gets an upgrade they will fix that. We did like having it for our first cup in the morning while getting dressed. Cabansail Posted October 23, 2015 #18 Share Posted October 23, 2015 we where in JS legend of the seas they had paper filter type we took our own coffee it worked out great Aussie So it's one of those drip type machines where you put in ground coffee? If so I will grind some just before I leave or buy some good stuff in Perth. If it's the Pod it's not so good as I don't like George Clooney's shoes. ;)

It's a plug-in coffee pot. You have to plug it in.:confused:  The plugs are on the vanity.

meripour Posted October 25, 2015 #21 Share Posted October 25, 2015 Not K cups, but the individual pre-pressed coffee-in-a-filter packet pods. Its a one cup at a time coffee maker, but there is a full water tea kettle. Buying these pods seems only a hotel racquet so I guess it will need to be a request with housekeeping to leave more to have that second cup in the room. Pumpkin dry creamer will be packed however.
