PREMIER Cruise

There is a special cocktail/welcome aboard party. Usually gifts almost daily. Drawings almost daily. Drinks on us card as soon as you walk on. Special gift. Slot tournament.

The limit is usually 300 or so guests for each cruise. Is you are interested, book early.

You also get vip at embarkation,

Well worth the trip. Only downside, in my mind, is that a lot of the drawings, etc. are during show times. And table limits are a little higher.

I was invited to a Premier Cruise. What is like from regular cruises? Is there losts of prizes or does that just depend on how many go on it?

Thank you any information would be great

Just off a premier casino cruise on the Magic. I received the following:

$300 cash bottle of wine bottle of champagne drinks on us card

chocolate strawberries (priority boarding, but I was platinum anyway)

There are daily drawings and slot/BJ tournaments

One drawing went for $1800 cash, last night drawing was a free cruise for 2

Fireball and snowball drawings for cash prizes, plus 1/2 hr $100 drawings for those actively playing a machine or at a table.

In May on the Valor 8 night southern Caribbean cruise was our Premier Offer. We DO NOT like these cruises for various reasons:

1- We did purchase FTTF and ended up getting our luggage last due to the fact Premier members get priority luggage, why we purchased it, we didn't know it was included but our luggage arrived much later than a regular cruise

2- The casino's are packed and the table limits are raised and the slots are much tighter.

3- The gifts we received nightly such as wine, large chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and such we always get on all our cruises only because of the amount of points my other half gets playing slots in the casino but we did both receive a very nice beach blanket, not carnival logo it was nice.

4- You receive the drinks on us card which I never get but my other half always gets it regardless.....but I did get one this time, we still get the Cheers Program only because you only can get drinks on the card in the casino.

5- We received nice cups and such.

6- They had contests, not once were we ever called and we were always in the casino day and night, we felt maybe it was rigged, maybe some people who won were not passengers....but when I mentioned this to the casino manager how could we not be called once she gave us a free dinner in the steakhouse, it was nice but I know she noticed how much my other spends per pull on the slot.

The cash amount is different from person to person I believe it goes by the amount you spend in the casino that turns into points, my other half received $900 don't think we came across anybody else who even got that amount.

We did get a free cruise that you must use within a certain period of time, for inside room now this is the only great point on the premier cruise for us, only we had to decline it due to the fact we were going to Aruba for two weeks and my other half could not get more time off within the six week time frame.

We loved the free cruise deal but everything was tighter and casinos more packed with people we prefer regular casino offers over premier.

I've been on two Premier cruises and if you haven't been on one I would go for it. The two things I didn't like - the casino was CROWDED! There were several times that I would just sit and play on one machine for 30 minutes because I knew if I got up there would be no other machines available. I normally like to move around if I'm not winning.

The other problem is it feels like everyone in the place has the Drinks On Us card. I know they don't, but definitely more people than normal. So, getting a drink was a real struggle. On the Legend we were able to finally find a good bar waiter that we tipped and he would come by often. Even then, it would take forever to get your drink because he was taking so many orders. On the Dream no matter how much or how often you tipped, it was almost impossible to get a drink.

All of that being said - it was fun and you do get some really good perks - so it's definitely worth it. Thankfully I've been getting the Pack & Play rates and I'm much happier with them.

Ok thanks for all the response. I booked online, I didn't get a email confirmation. Will it say anywhere on the paper work it is for a premier cruise? It doesn't say anywhere online unless i am just not looking in the right place.

Make sure you bring the invitation that you got in the mail with you. You need to show it at the casino cage to get the money they said you would get.

And, for the drawings, if you are sitting at a pokerpro table, you are not included in the people who are sitting at a table and eligible for the drawing. The pokerpro does not talk to the other casino systems that recognize that your card is in a machine or been logged in at a table.

There is nothing on the paperwork stating it is a premier cruise. It should however say priority on your boarding pass.

Premier cruises are alot of fun. I have been on several. Next one Dec 12th on the Conquest

Why did you get FTTF? Get priority with Premier.
