When we were in Costa Maya, we went on a Chacchoben Maya Ruins excursion that was pretty interesting.

If you like relaxing on the beach and having folks pamper you with great food and drinks, go to Maya Chan Beach Resort! We're going back for the second time in two weeks!

Yes, Costa Maya is in Mexico on the Caribbean side.

 

We love taking a quick taxi shuttle to Majahaul and spending time at a beach/beach bar there. :D

When we are in Costa Maya, we go to Maya Chan. Our next visit in December will be our 6th visit there. We never tire of a wonderful relaxing day with great food, excellent service and floating in the water in their tubes.

I know others love other places, but we like Maya Chan so much we would not go elsewhere.

Prior to Maya Chan, in our earlier crusing days, we did snorkel trips, the ruins, walking through the original malecon with I think it was called the Black Cat. That was pre hurricane Dean.
