jpcello Posted December 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2015 Coffee, tea, OJ and soda? Can I get a bottle or water for free? This may be different if you're in a suite or have cruised on NCL alot. I was just a regular passenger on Breakaway in August (it was our first NCL cruise). Coffee - free (specialty coffees cost extra) Tea - free OJ - free from the dispensers in the buffet. Fresh-squeezed is extra. Soda - not free, you have to pay for it Water - free from the tap, bottles you have to pay for

pr0pel Posted December 10, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2015 You have to pay for soda from the fountain? That's insane! Not sure which cruises you've been on but there are no fountains available to the public. If you want soda, you get it from the server or bar. In the buffet, there is usually a juice/beverage attendant where you can get fresh squeezed juices (and soda) for a fee. Flavored water is also free. illiniwahoo Posted December 10, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2015 If you want soda you have to buy a soda package, there are no soda fountains accessible to guests, you have to be served. Just to clarify, you can buy sodas individually (about $2 per can). You can also buy a soda package and get unlimited soda for the person who bought the package. Of the mainstream cruise lines, Disney is the only one that includes soda to my knolwedge. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
casofilia Posted December 10, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 10, 2015 If you want bottled water you either have to buy it, expensive!! Or just take your own bottles and fill them. We have a wide necked one and fill with the water/ice from the cabin ice bucket. Mike
Bluetail48 Posted December 10, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 10, 2015 We took on our own water bottles with filter (just because that's what we took, not because the tap water needed to be filtered). We also took on a case of water that we kept in our collapsible cooler on our balcony. You can also bring on your own sodas/juices (any non-alcoholic liquid refreshment, really), as long as they are sealed and, in fact, contain the product advertised on the label. Rare BirdTravels Posted December 11, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Coffee, tea, OJ and soda? Can I get a bottle of water for free? Regular coffee is free. Espressos and specialty coffee are not. Fake OJ from the dispenser at the buffet is free. Real OJ is not. Soda cost money from bar or restaurant service. Bottled water is not free (even with the beverage package). But, bottled water and energy drinks are free with a casino drink card, from the casino bar, when the casino is open, if you are a casino guest or play enough during the cruise.
