TrumpyNor Posted January 9, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) We stayed in cabin no. 15826, a BA midships cabin. Bed by closet, sofa by the balcony. Room was larger than expected but extremely narrow space between bed and closet. Situated close to elevators and stairs. I think there was a door bell by the door outside the cabin, but I am not 100% certain. Edited January 9, 2016 by TrumpyNor Adding more "thumbnail" photos. CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted January 12, 2016 #31 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Anyone have any info about cabin 9844, balcony on deck 9? Bed location? We were in 985---can't recall exactly. But bed was Definately next to balcony door. How I know, is cuz during very stormy night, if I got rolled out of bed? I would have been wedged inbetween them. So I stayed awake til storm was less, and was safer to lay down.

How was the noise, motion and ease to get to other places?

How was the noise, motion and ease to get to other places? Very good location, and easy to get to other places because it was close to elevators and stairs. Didn't have any problems at all with noise or motion.
JMHAM1 Posted January 18, 2016 #39 Share Posted January 18, 2016 How can you tell if the bed is by the balcony or the closet?
TifffanyD Posted January 18, 2016 #40 Share Posted January 18, 2016 8140 was on the hump and had a nice bumped out balcony. It was very close to both district brewhouse and food republic (just down the hall). Other restaurants and bars further down 8. You did hear some noise from the theatre if you were in your cabin during shows (I wasn't).
TrumpyNor Posted January 18, 2016 #41 Share Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) How can you tell if the bed is by the balcony or the closet? If you try to do a mock booking online (without finalizing it), you get to a page where you can choose among several cabins, and the room description will then show. There you have the option to choose "View more", and there it will state (among other things) if bed is near balcony or near entrance. I don't know how accurate this information is, but for our cabin it was correct. The rooms are a little wider at the spot where the bed is placed, but unfortunately the deck plans for the Escape doesn't show that little detail (like the deck plans does for the Breakaway and the Getaway). On the Escape deck plans it looks like all cabins are "square" but they are not.... Edited January 18, 2016 by TrumpyNor
weltek Posted January 18, 2016 #42 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Would love to see pics of Escape's forward ocean view cabin 14100 and around the corner inside cabin 14401.....we are normally balcony cruisers, but DH has always wanted that front facing forward cabin and kids love the inside, so off we go! LOL If you have any pics, thanks!! :D Ee were in 11102, which is pretty much the same as the pic in this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1837330 Beds were on the opposite wall (and pushed together for us). Felt roomy for the two if us. Closet is veryy accessible-werent tripping over each other. Lots of motion in these rooms, but we didn't get sicl. Nice and quiet. leafsnation Posted January 19, 2016 #43 Share Posted January 19, 2016 We always go inside closet class and seperate beds makes more room and have them take table and chair away and also have them empty fridge. Going in sept. RC is dead who knows closer to time may get upsell cheap. Got to perks included and looking forward to a new ship. Never been on a biggy before. harz99 Posted January 20, 2016 #45 Share Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Me neither. I think the post means; Sept cruise on NCL Escape, Inside cabin, beds separated, table (there isn't one) and chair removed, 2 perks included, looking forward to sailing on big new ship. No idea what is meant by the bit about RC, unless it means jumped ship from Royal. Edited January 20, 2016 by harz99

Nator72 Posted April 26, 2016 #47 Share Posted April 26, 2016 any info or pictures for escape cabin 12804? thanks in advance;) Have you sailed yet? Do you have any pictures of 12804? DRAYSTAN Posted December 5, 2017 #48 Share Posted December 5, 2017 I hope this thread takes off....good idea. From the YouTube videos I've seen, the inside cabin looks more spacious than on other ships. Baggage fits unders the bed but I guess it really depends on how many occupants will be in the cabin. We are booked in cabin 15230 on Escape. I know it's a bed by the balcony stateroom but what I want to know is if the balcony is a bump out giving a little extra space or not. Or I can wait until we sail and be surprised if no one responds. We are very excited to set sail! We are booked in this room Dec 9th, 2017 do you have pics? I'm curious how the layout is since it seems to have a corner to the room?
