Triumph cruise

I just booked a July 4th cruise on the Triumph. The last time I cruised on the Triumph was 2011. I believe I read somewhere that the ship has had some upgrades since 2011. Can anyone tell me what might be different when I cruise this time? Thanks very much.

We were on her in Jan 2014 and had a wonderful time.

We cruised on her in October 2015. It was the best cruise we've taken out of four (Fascination, Elation, and Glory). Ship was in good shape, our balcony cabin was roomy, crew was soooo friendly and food was great. We'd sail her again if the itinerary changed.

I sailed on the Triumph in June 2010 and then again in June 2013 (post-upgrades). I liked the upgrades the ship was given.

It pretty much shows how the pool area has changed, the promenade, and some other changes made throughout the ship.

We just returned from a 5-day cruise on Triumph over New Years. It was among the best cruises we have taken in recent years. The last time we were on Triumph was NYE 2012--just two months prior to the fire. All the upgrades after the 2013 fire are fantastic and the ship is in great shape and kept very clean. The food and service is excellent. The crew and staff are wonderful. The entertainment is outstanding. We had our whole family in four cabins on deck 7 mid-ship and it was a great location. We had a really great cabin steward as well as outstanding MDR waiters. We experienced no adverse issues on this cruise and heard no complaints from others. Here's hoping you have a really great experience on Carnival Triumph as well. Bon Voyage!

I sailed on her last April and have a March, 2016 booked with 10 family and friends - I would continue an annual cruise on her but she is moving to New Orleans - love the ship.

We just celebrated our 25th milestone cruise aboard the Triumph for our seventh time from Galveston over New Years. Other than a cool, rainy day at sea coming back it was a great vacation.

 

The dining room staff are some of our favorites, the food is good and you are surrounded by friendly people.

@BallFour4 Awesome pictures! Do you recall which day the towel animals were on deck? We've missed it every time so I'm guessing is port day morning.

Isn't Taste Bar New since the upgrades? It's located at the end of the casino bar, in front of the band area. It's easy to miss because it's just a little kiosk cart type thing. Seems like it opens around 5 and just for a short time, maybe not even every day. Check it out! Good food for a little pre-dinner appetizer stop.

On my Dream cruise back in Oct, the lido towel animals were put out on our last port day, not the day after which was our last sea day.

I could be mistaken but I was thinking that I took those photographs on the last sea day. Just ask at the desk when you get on board and they should be able to tell you so that you can have your camera ready.
