Has anyone stayed at the Intercontinental Miami?? If so, what was your experience like? How much was the cab fare to the port? Any tips or tricks?

If you want a full service hotel it's a nice choice.

 

If you can swing it, go with a club floor room.

 

Taxi around $15.00 and just a few minute ride.

Taxi from MIA airport to the IC will run about $25+ on the meter - the ride takes about 15+ minutes, depending upon traffic.

 

Uber might save you some $$ ;)

A big Vote for the Club Floor at Intercon. :)

We stayed there in 2014 prior to our 25th anniversary cruise. We upgraded to the club level; definitely worth it! Free afternoon snacks, free evening snacks and drinks, and free breakfast. When I booked the room I mentioned it was our anniversary, and we received a free bottle of sparkling wine with chocolate covered strawberries later that evening. Such a great place!!
