Arubamoose Posted January 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Does anyone know if they have Fireball on the Getaway??? Do they have Rum Chata??? My new favorite drink.....!
Rare KeithJenner Posted January 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2016 They have fireball on NCL ships, so I don't see any reason why the Getaway wouldn't.
Jane Don Posted January 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) On Christmas I always put some apple cider in the slow cooker with some spices and sliced orange. The kids love it, it tastes great and it makes the house smell nice. This year my BIL brought fireball and I put some in my hot cider. It was soooo good. Warm, spiced apple pie - with a kick! mattio Posted January 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 21, 2016 I prefer Jack Fire, much better taste, and it's a liquor!
TheDougOut Posted January 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 21, 2016 We do fireball and angry orchard. Call it angry balls. Interesting... I can't figure out if that works or not. :) I used to be a fan of Loaded Coronas - a Corona topped off with Bicardi Limon instead of a lime. Maybe we're on to something... Jelly Belly flavor combinations of beers/liquors.
evanAction Posted January 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Do they serve Angry Orchard on the ship? Angry Orchard is on The District's menu on the Escape, so may be Fleet wide?
Jane Don Posted January 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Do they serve Angry Orchard on the ship? I double dog dare you to walk up to the bar and demand angry balls.
realcindylouwho Posted January 21, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 21, 2016 No RumChata. I was hoping they had it for my breakfast coffee. Such a downer.
LrgPizza Posted January 21, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 21, 2016 I double dog dare you to walk up to the bar and demand angry balls. They knew what it was when I ordered it 15 months ago. I was prepared to explain, but it was so common there was no need. They've kind of gone out of style most places, but I'm sure most bartenders will still remember. They rang in the beer and shot separately, and poured them into a glass for me.
Rare KeithJenner Posted January 21, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Angry Orchard is on The District's menu on the Escape, so may be Fleet wide? It is fleet wide. It's been on every ship I've been on for the past couple of years.
weltek Posted January 21, 2016 #13 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Go to the upper deck of the pool bar and ask Melvin for Fireball. I had to keep telling him "no Fireball!" :-) I did a shot of Rumchata somewhere...can't remember if it was on ship or in port. I think on ship. If they don't have that brand, they might have another. Arubamoose Posted January 21, 2016 Author #14 Share Posted January 21, 2016 Disappointed about the RumChata but happy about the Fireball. Now I need to try the Angry Ball.....!!!
vanchelle Posted January 21, 2016 #15 Share Posted January 21, 2016 I double dog dare you to walk up to the bar and demand angry balls. The bartenders at the Shakers on the Epic last spring were the ones who told us it was an "angry balls" when my wife was ordering angry orchard with a shot of fireball. [emoji12] that's how we order it now at our local bars-they get a kick out of it and more bars call it that.
