Catch a taxi and go to Mr Sancho's. Buy the AI for $55 per person, and relax by the shore with your own lil palm tree umbrella thingy, eat amazing Mexican food, swim in the sea or pool, drink Miami Vices (or whatever your vice is!!) and enjoy. Taxi for four people is $17 one way.

In Falmouth we booked with resortforaday.com and were driven to Montego Bay (25-30 min) for a day at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort. It's also AI, and we had an amazing Jamaican lunch, plenty of drinks and enjoyed the day in their water park/pool area. Great swim up bar, and lazy river.

What we liked about resort for a day, is that we were driven from Falmouth to Mo Bay in a new model bus that had a/c. We did NOT want to haggle over the cost or condition of a taxi with independent drivers and this was a good option for us. The bus driver asked what time the ship was departing, returned at the time he said he would, and had us back in plenty of time. We even got to watch the traditional "running of the latecomers!" LOL. I highly recommend this option, and would do it again if we ever port in Falmouth again.

You just have to remember to cover your drinks at a couple parts of the lazy river.:D

We enjoyed this as well although we booked direct and used a private car for the day through Reggae Tours. Would highly recommend Reggae tours for transportation or tours.

I can't recommend Nachi Cocom enough. Beach is not crowded, food is very good, waiters & bartenders are attentive. The restrooms, pool & hot tub are clean. We have had two cruises to Cozumel (RCCL & CCL) & have been there both times. If you go, print off several copies of your reservation email confirmation & carry lots of small denomination bills. Don't freak out when viewing the menu, it's in pesos & you don't pay extra for the good, it's included.

We went to the Blue Hole from Falmouth, and it was cool. We used Courtney Taylor Tours, and unfortunately I would not recommend them. They told us to meet them at the port between 9 and 9:30 and we showed up at 9:20 and they had left without us. Other tour companies helped us call them and track them down, and an employee of Peet Taylor Tours ended up driving us to meet them at the Blue Hole. The tour guide was not apologetic at all, and our excursion got cut short because of the delay. We were supposed to get to go to the beach, and that didn't happen. Lots of people recommend Peet Taylor, so I would try with them if you want to go to the Blue Hole!

Another vote for Nachi in Cozumel. We were there this past August and loved it. So relaxing. Beautiful uncrowded beach with your own thatch umbrella and loungers. All inclusive at $55 a person. Food was great and drinks were plenty strong. We are going there again this May. Can't wait.

We loved Cozumel Bar Hop. It's not as crazy as it sounds and you see four beach bars on the eastern part of the island. Very beautiful and uncrowded. Love the people who run it also. We have been 4 times and are both over 50.

Did a walking food tour in Falmouth we really enjoyed. Did a walk through the town with narration about the history and would stop along the way and sample local cuisine. Here's a link: http://jamaicaculinarytours.com/home

We also can give a vote for Nachi Cocum in Cozumel.

Those are the same 2 things we did, and I HIGHLY recommend both!! Nachi was a great relaxing day, and the food tour was very interesting and got to sample lots of good eats. Janet does a very good job of putting together the tour in Falmouth!
