What Do You Do On a Sea Day?

If we have an aft cabin, we spend the entire afternoon on the balcony. :)

We always do room service for breakfast on the balcony on our 1st day at sea. That means I skip my early morning visit to the gym. After breakfast I usually hang out on the balcony, still in PJ's, while my wife gets ready for the day. By the time we are ready to leave the cabin we've found something in the Compass, usually trivia. If it's bingo, I opt for the gym. We might do Johnny Rockets for lunch (I know the reviews are mixed on JR's, but we never eat hamburgers so we enjoy it) With much perseverance we can usually find a spot in the solarium for the afternoon for some sun, drinks and me falling asleep while reading and nearly dropping my iPad 3-4 times before giving in to the inevitable nap time.

My favorite part of sea days is watch the ocean go by...

I get up - eat breakfast, head to the gym for a good workout and then the rest of the day I find a quiet place with an ocean view and read. If the pool is really loud - I head to the deck with the muster stations and find a chair there.

If you are on Oasis or Allure I would highly recommend going to Vintages for wine and tapas. This is a must do at least once per cruise for us.
