Hello, Thank you to all, 2 days to Escape!!!!!

Long time lurker here. After a 10 year hiatus we returned to cruising last year on the Getaway in an extended balcony cabin. It was such a blast that we booked for this year on the Escape. This time in the Haven 18714. By this time tomorrow we should be flying out of Boston to Miami.

 

Many thanks to all who have posted their photos and opinions as well as answered the gazillion questions that sometimes seem to repeat;).

 

Reading this forum has certainly been a treasure of information and provided an exciting lead-up to our cruise.

We just returned home a few days ago from the Escape. She is a beautiful ship! Don't miss the Aqua Racer waterslide if you even think you might like it....we loved it and we are grandparents;)

 

Although we were disappointed with the cancellation of a couple of shows due to injuries (Million $ Quartet and Brat Pack Supper club) we did enjoy the 'Unplugged' Supper club show that several entertainers performed in. Very talented group. Hope all goes well on your cruise. Oh, and don't miss the great food at Food Republic! Wish we had visited it earlier in the week as we would have gone several times.

Collecting Coke, we in the Haven on the Escape in room 18712 in about a week. Do you have any pictures of the room you can share? Any thoughts regarding the room? Did you hear any moving of deck chairs from the 19 sun deck at night? Thanks!

You should be ok. Starboard side (yours) has less AM noise than port side (public sundeck). You are far enough away from the cantilevered hot-tub so that shouldn't be a problem.

 

How loud VIBE will be during the day depends on who is there during your cruise.
