Pack and play....

Just FYI, I got a pack n play offer last year when I already had one booked. I used it on an existing booking, so it does happen. Maybe it IS random. Who knows.

I got the pack and play offer yesterday and I already had one booked for this summer so they can come out if you are already booked.

I've switched two existing bookings to Premier after they came out, so makes sense you can do that with PnP, too.

I do wonder if the random thing is for the first offer. If you then book under that offer, you continue to get the same type.

I don't know why I got the first Premier offer. Like I said, I'm not a high roller. But after I booked that first one, I get them every time, even when I don't book every time. I can't sail at this time of year, so I have to skip the current group. The first time I got the offer but couldn't book, I was worried that I would never receive another, but I did get the offer next time. So, it seems I'm now "on the list" to receive Premier offers.

I don't get the great offers - "just" a reduced fare and usually $300 casino cash. But, hey! I'll take it, especially when I already had the cruise booked!

I didn't think you could even call the Player's Club these days. I thought a while back everyone said you had to email, that they no longer took calls. Which reminds me that I should ask about any perks for Vista. I'll happily take anything, even if only $25 casino cash. :D

I think it may be based on if you accept the offers too. Everyone we have received, we have used. They're too good of a deal to pass up! I have never received a new pnp with one already booked though.

Their system is just garbage. I called this morning also because several friends that barely cruise and/or gamble all got the offers and I did not. I typically gamble around $5000 in the casino on each of my cruises and have never gotten the bounce back or pack and play.

I didn't get one either. Last February my PVP called to tell me I had the offer for Alaska. I booked that and a few other cruises with the offer. She told me if you book 1 or 2 a year with the offer you usually will get the offer.

I booked 3 with that one offer and have yet to get another one. I got regular casino offers throughout the year that I used. My last offer ended on 12/18 and I haven't received an offer since which is disappointing because I want to book, but I don't want to have one booked and potentially not get the offer.

It's also too bad with Carnival upping the price for cruises it seems more affordable to cruise on NCL now.

I booked a Pack and Play Deal Yesterday again myself:D!

They really are a great deal, Even at a slightly higher charge per cabin type !

I spoke to a Casino Host on a few different recent cruises. It's THEIR Opinion, That the pack and play offers are VERY MUCH based on your Casino Points/Play..In case anyone here is telling you otherwise. This will be my 4th pack and play cruise. I did also receive 1 bounce back offer. But didn't book it in the 2 week window, You have to book. 1 month later, The Pack and Play offer was back. We love them !

I always get a bounce-back offer my last night in the casino, but can never use them in the time period offered. I got a pack n play offer after my last Splendor cruise, and used it to book Liberty this past summer. Always get premier offers, but no pack n plays. (and I can never use the premiers for the dates offered either!!) Will be interesting to see what I get after my upcoming Splendor cruise. Maybe the pack n plays will show up then - if so, I will grab one for this summer!

My pvp called and emailed me yesterday about this offer. Inside cabins for $75 per person with $100 onboard credit. There were many many cruises available with dates thru October but they were selling out like crazy as we were talking. I was trying to coordinate with my travel partner and by the time she would text me back with a yes or no answer, many of the options were already gone. Although there were lots of ships and dates available, it was still pretty hard to find 1 that fit my schedule and offered an itinerary that I haven't already sailed.

I logged into the Carnival website while talking with him and it did not show nearly as many options as he was offering so definitely call, don't just log in and think the list that you see includes all of your options.

The casino host was WRONG. The pack and play offers are NOT based on your casino play and points. I've never received an offer and would definitely be getting the pack and play offers if they were based on your points/play.

Having worked in the Casino Industry for over 11 years in my youth, I can tell you that if all your play is being done on table games. You won't EVER get an accurate rating of your actual play..I know ! I used to rate table players as a Pit Boss/Table Games Supervisor ! Slot players have ALWAYS been better taken care of over table games. If your a slot player and average several thousand points a cruise (5000+). I would call and inquire WHY, Your not receiving these offers..At that point, You Should..Good Luck !

Well, I've also been told here that I don't get the bounceback because I always have at least one cruise already booked.

If that's the case with the bounceback and/or the pack-and-play, that just ticks me off. It should have nothing to do with anything.

I rarely get the DOU card. I just don't play that much. Well, and like I said, 3 of the 4 past cruises were Premier so I already had a card.

We'll see what happens on Vista. It's 13 nights, but I don't know how much time I'll be spending in the casino. Only 3 sea days, and we'll be out in the ports for full-day excursions every day. Won't have much time or energy to play in the casino.

I used to only play slots, but started playing Roulette on my first Premier and pretty much that's all I do now. I'll play a couple of hours a night, but often that's with $100 starting. If I lose it all, I usually walk away. Sometimes I'll put down another $100. But often, I can play for hours and walk away with chips. Cash them in and start again the next night.

I'm not a big better. I don't cover a dozen #s with multiple chips (or $5 or $25 chips). I play splits and corners, usually. Yes, the payout is lower but the odds are better. Hey, I'm an accountant, so I'm fiscally-conservative by nature. ;)

I am confused as to how you are getting Premiere Casino offers if you are not qualifying to even get the DOU card ??? You only need 1500 points to get the DOU card but you need 7500 to get invite to Premiere . I am just wondering if you are not qualifying for the drink card how you are getting premiere offers? I am playing for hours in the casino daily and spending alot more than $100 a day to get Premiere offers. Its great you are getting them without spending a fortune dont get me wrong ! Better in your pocket than theirs but its just a little confusing ? Tell me the secret so I can do the same lol!! :)

I always get more than 6500 slot points on my CCL cruises. Players Club rep told me (again, as I wrote earlier) the offers are totally random. Yes, I always get a bounce-back offer, and yes, I get Premier offers - but this time was passed over for pack and play. Sucks!!

I had to have reached 1500 points on my last cruise in September.I was given the dou card , and dinner in the steakhouse for myself and my daughter, and things sent to my cabin. However, all i have is the casino offer with funchips.

I emailed the casino yesterday. The answer to my questions were vague. But, I was told that they couldn't say what the qualifications are because they change often. Oh well...

In my experience, if you have a cruise already booked, you don't get the Pnp offers.

I actually cruised on the Breeze in January 2016 on a premier offer. Got a bounce back offer on the last day of the cruise. Used that to book the Magic in July 2016. And now have the Pack and Play offer. I play a lot on the tables but still not sure how they decide who gets what. My fiancé has yet to receive any offer and we always cruise together???? I'm not complaining because as long as one of us receive them, we are good [emoji6]

That's impossible. Like I said, up until the first Premier cruise (11/29/13), all I'd ever received was a casino rate (just a discounted cabin rate). I booked that a couple of times.

Prior to that, I only played slots and only ever received the DOU card late in the cruise (once on the last night of an 8-night at about 10 pm; lot of good that did me!).

Suddenly, I got a Premier offer and booked it and then two others from later offers. Never a bounce-back and never a pack-and-play.

I've qualified for the Premier-only slot tournaments on those sailings while playing 90% Roulette and 10% slots, so however they're rating at the tables, I'm probably doing better than I was slots only.

I have never and probably never will get anywhere close to 7500 points! Or even 5000 points.

I got the offer and booked 5 day trip in June on Conquest - 75 inside per person/125 outside and $100 onboard credit. Looked today and Tampa popped up on the Feb calendar for a few minutes with same deal and then disappeared. Called Carnival and got Feb 29 booked with same deal. Had some wonderful 7 day Galveston deals = can't remember if it was $175 or what - in Feb.

I cruise once a year usually at the same time, March ... I get these offers ALL of the time. Right now I have a premier, pack and play AND casino cash offers on my VIFP, along with the standard past guest etc. Last cruise I had the DOU card by the second day and had only dropped about $200 of my own money. They also gave me a steak dinner for 4 in the steakhouse, along with a free bottle of wine and sent an entire tray of cookies to my room a couple of different nights during the cruise.

I really don't spend that much of my own cash ever so I have no idea how they determine who gets offers and perks and who doesn't. My VIFP level is in the mid-gold range.

The question I have is if you book a cruise with one of the offers they give you can you only use that offer for one cruise or can you book 2 at the same time using the same offer. We are going to do a cruise in March and then a family cruise during the summer. I have the pack and play sitting in my account right now but am not sure if I can book 2 different cruises at the same time using the pack and play code for both. Anyone have the skinny on that?

You can book as many pack and plays as you want, as long as they are available. Go for it!!

Pretty disappointed I usually always get the pack and play offer but didn't this time around....I've been gambling alot lately too so not sure why I didn't. Cousin got one and he barely plays much, but when he does play it's usually nothing less than $50 hands. Hopefully next time around!

I think the number of cruises you do with Carnival plays a role too. Ive noticed the more cruises I have taken the more offers I get--and better offers too.

I would agree too. I think we keep getting the pack and play offers because we always book a cruise when we do get them. Our last 3 cruises have been pnp offers. I just booked another for 4/16 with a pnp offer. My husband gets these offers, I don't. He does play the slots in the casino but he doesn't spend a lot of money in there. Most of the time he doesn't get the DOU card until the next to the last night.

I read in another thread that John Heald said in Dec (2015 or 2014? don't remember) that Premier is for accumulated 7,500 points during the last 12 months.

Edit: "don't" remember. It's important to include all the words. : )
