mrkrpan Posted February 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2016 Sorry if this is a duplicate question - I searched and could not find an answer. What type(s) of non-alcoholic beer are available on the ship (Caribbean Princess)? Thank you!
USNUZULOOSE Posted February 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2016 I am curious to know as well. Can't drink alcohol but like the taste of beer with certain dishes.
john watson Posted February 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I am curious to know as well. Can't drink alcohol but like the taste of beer with certain dishes. They do an "Ariel" non-alcoholic wine in white, red and sometimes Rose by the bottle in MDR as an alternative with your meals. Maybe someone will advise the beer options in a while. What type(s) of non-alcoholic beer are available on the ship (Caribbean Princess)? Thank you! They have Buckler - Buckler Non-Alcoholic Lager is maybe the best non-alcoholic beer in the world. Made by the folks at Heineken... Good stuff!!
Steelers36 Posted February 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2016 Yes, I like Buckler too. I used to buy it when I was working in the USA. I never thought to check that on board and I don't recall if I have seen it or not. I don't end up having that much beer on board, but I will look for it next time. john watson Posted February 3, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) It's called grape juice. :D:p Not exactly, they ferment the stuff into wine as normal. The second stage is alcohol removal which they do by boiling off alcohol at 60 degrees. It leaves a residual amount of alcohol about 0.01%. You can get grape juice drinks such as "Shloer" in many shops but not on board. This is not a wine but a blended grape juice drink in flavours including, white, red and rose grape, white grape and elderflower, white grape cranberry and raspberry or a white fizzy grape. All these may be drunk by all age groups as they are regarded as non-alcoholic. Regards John Edited February 3, 2016 by john watson
