warmwinds Posted February 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I should know this, but can't remember. Can you just go up to the cage and have, say, $100 put onto your Seapass account? I'm not talking about cashing out OBC, just getting new money to gamble with? Is there any fee involved to do this, or will you get the whole $100? kitty9 Posted February 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2016 There is a fee no matter how you take the money out of the casino. It used to be 3 1/2 %, but I think it's now 5%.

Rare Texed Posted February 14, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I don't know much about GETTING money in the casino. But, I can show you how to LOSE money in the casino. :D
Rare ghstudio Posted February 14, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2016 If you are buying in to a casino tournament, they don't charge the 5%....just the entry fee.
Rare Cruise Raider Posted February 14, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2016 If you are buying in to a casino tournament, they don't charge the 5%....just the entry fee. Same goes if you have a certain status with Mlife (MGM / Mirage casino corporation) or if part of the Blue Chip Club.
warmwinds Posted February 14, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Well, we're none of the above so we're just going to bring our gambling money and store it in the safe until gone. :)
Mr&MrsCookie Posted February 14, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I'm assuming all of the pokies/slots are in US currency and only use cash rather than cards?
pmcue Posted February 14, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Same goes if you have a certain status with Mlife (MGM / Mirage casino corporation) or if part of the Blue Chip Club. Which status do you need for no fee. I am Platinum but wondering if this is just for Noir.
warmwinds Posted February 15, 2016 Author #11 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I think Platinum gets a lot of stuff, I'm only Pearl so never bothered to hook the two accounts together, not even sure how. If you google "Mlife and Celebrity Cruises" I did see a list of benefits but the only phone numbers seemed to be to either book a hotel or a cruise. Not sure what you have to do to get Mlife credit for gambling on-board.

warmwinds Posted February 15, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) I'm sailing tomorrow and my fault I just thought of this Mlife thing at the 11th hour. I first called Captain's Club and they gave me the number to call for Celebrity Fortunes, which of course was closed on Sunday. So I called an Mlife number I had and they said just to bring our Mlife cards on board and they could link the accounts right then and there - here's hoping they are correct. If not, we really don't gamble that much, was just hoping to rev up our Mlife points because we hadn't used them in a while (have actually dropped from Pearl to Sapphire, which is the bottom rung level. No free cruises for us!). FYI: it was pretty easy to get to the correct Mlife dept. because there were several prompts (new reservation, year-end statement, etc.) and one of them was something like "Partner Offers".
