CGoguen Posted February 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I see on RC's website that Oasis class allows smoking on the port side. Does this mean the starboard side is smoke free or does it mean both sides have smoking areas?
janrey1234 Posted February 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2016 Only the one side and only in particular areas/decks. On the Allure and I believe all ships now there is no smoking in your cabin or on your balcony no matter what side you are on. The smoking area on the pool deck was pretty nice though. There is still smoking in the casino but there is a room inside that is non smoking.

leaveitallbehind Posted February 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Only one side will allow outdoor smoking and on our most recent Allure cruise it was port side pool deck. Smoking has been prohibited in the staterooms for many years and has not been allowed on any balcony since January of 2014. Part of the casino is smoking and part is non smoking, which is the only indoor venue allowing smoking. garnetpalmetto Posted February 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Casino and one side of the pool deck. Specifically the port side of the pool deck. There's an area set up for smokers around the Pool Bar.

travelbuddies Posted February 16, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Boarding day the outdoor smoking areas are still being cleaned and set up for the turn around. You may smoke in the smoking section in the Casino until evening. The outdoor smoking sections will be available for the rest of the cruise with the exception of bad weather conditions then it may close temporarily for safety reasons. Have a great cruise!
